Nothing gets done without desire. Behind every action or behaviour there is a need or a want. Desire gives us reason to act, It is the beginning of things. We create because of desire, the world was created out of desire, God wanted it and here we are. It is the seed of ambition, the motive to achieve. it is the hook that draws us to the thing we long for, without it we have nothing. Desire is goal setting, it is target aiming, it keeps the last guy in the 100 m running, it keeps a failing student trying and a gambler spending. It is the attitude to attain, but not all desires are good.
